Sketches for Discount Sestina

I created the sets and props for my 2025 film Discount Sestina, which is set in a shoe store. With the help of my small crew, I built the artificial shoe store in a photo studio at School of Visual Arts in New York in April 2024, and used C-stands to hang flats representing store decor.

In this on-set photograph, the actors playing shoe salespeople show their papier-mâché costume shoes. Also visible is the final flat artwork for Shoes 4 Ladies trompe l’oeil shoe shelving.
